Fitness ‘gains’ are possible without exercise ‘pains’. This website is designed to show you how to maintain heart health through step-by-step videos, key medical information and a proven exercise program. Blending the best in cardiac medicine with the latest fitness practices, we have designed a safe and effective series of exercises that can be done individually or as part of a program. Created specifically for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) patients, our Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced HCM programs can be followed by anyone seeking to improve their overall fitness. What is HCM & Why Fitness? |
Hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM) is a condition where the heart muscle has variable amounts of hypertrophy (thickening) and or muscle scarring. It is present in about 1/500 persons and often has a genetic basis with multiple family members affected.

How To Begin Your Fitness Program |
When beginning your exercise program it is best to start with the Beginner program, especially if you are new to exercise. The Beginner program offers a way to connect and work with foundational movements.

A progression from the Beginner Program offering more advanced and integrated stretching, functional resistance training and relaxation techniques.

FITNESS PROGRAM
A progression from the Intermediate Program into full Functional Movement Patterns.
